Hi, I’m Dave Raines, founder of Raines Realty Group. Originally from Los Angeles, I’ve called Portland home for the past decade, and I live in King City, OR, with my wife Blain, our daughter's Sasha, LA and our son Lazarus. When I’m not immersed in real estate, you’ll likely find me at church, with a good book, or enjoying family time.
I entered the real estate world in 2016, and from the moment I started, I knew it was a career where I could put my strengths to work. My first year was anything but typical—I sold 48 homes; an accomplishment that set the foundation for the families I now serve annually. I quickly found my niche working with clients who previously had trouble selling their homes, specializing in expired or canceled listings. About half of my business comes from assisting homeowners whose homes were on the market but didn’t sell.
My journey with these clients started out of sheer curiosity. I couldn’t understand why homes wouldn’t sell in a hot market, so I reached out to homeowners to hear their stories. What I discovered was that many were left with unanswered questions about why their homes sat unsold while others in their neighborhoods moved quickly. I became determined to help these families find clarity. Through thorough research and customized strategies, I began relisting these homes with solutions that often led to quicker sales at higher prices.
